• Trip content you provide, such as itineraries, reservations, transportation and lodging details, activities, documents, invitations, announcements, and payment records.

• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, access times, logs, and your interactions with the service.
• Information from connected services when you choose to use them, such as authentication providers, email import tools, and travel-status providers.

How we use information

• Provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve What We Doing Next.
• Create and manage accounts, trips, invitations, shared travel plans, and requested features.
• Send transactional communications, including account notices, invitations, itinerary updates, transportation alerts, and other trip-related email or SMS messages you request.

How information is disclosed

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information only:

• To other members of a trip when needed to provide the collaboration features you use.
• To service providers that process information on our behalf to operate the service, such as hosting, authentication, email, SMS delivery, and travel-status providers. They may use the information only to provide contracted services to us.
• When you direct us or give us permission.
• When reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party except vendors that provide the messaging service on our behalf.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You may review and update profile information and communication preferences from your account. SMS message frequency varies with trip activity, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.

Children

What We Doing Next is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required.
